Remainder of price is due before obtaining kitten/cat). 2.Kitten/cat is purchased for (circle one) Household pet Show Breeding Breeding & Show 3.Purchaser(s) agree to the following conditions and understands them: a. If purchased for a pet or show, the kitten/cat shall be altered as early as 5mo but as late as 1yr and shall not be used for breeding purposes of any kind. The blue registration slip will be held for show purchase until proof of the alteration is provided to the Maine Folds Cattery breeder. (For large breeds or slow maturing breeds of cats the longer you wait the better for the overall development of the kitten/cat to allow the hormones time to help in the development/maturity of the kitten/cat.) b. The kitten/cat shall not be sold, leased or given to any pet shop or research establishment. c. The kitten/cat shall not be sold, given or donated to any person or rescue group. If the owner is unable to care for the kitten/cat it will be surrendered back to the breeder unless prior arrangements are made with Maine Folds Cattery. If no available arrangements can be made the owner will surrender the kitten/cat back to Maine Folds Cattery at any age at no cost to Maine Folds cattery. d. Kitten/Cat will be isolated for a minimum of 3-5 days if there are other pets in the house. If not isolated the health guarantee is void. 4. The purchaser(s) further warrant that the kitten/cat: a. Will be kept indoors only and should not be let outside for any reason b. Will receive regular booster vaccinations and regular treatments as needed by a designated vet: Vets Name: ______________________________ Phone # ______________________________ c. Will NEVER be surgically de-clawed. I can teach you how to trim your new kitten/cat nails 5. If this kitten/cat is purchased as a Breeder, Show, or both, buyer will not resell or lease this kitten/cat to anyone else unless first approved in writing by Maine Folds Cattery. If showing and owner wants to use an agent, owner must contact Maine Folds Cattery prior to doing so and obtain written permission. Agent will be checked out prior to authorization. 6. Purchaser(s) agrees not to hold Maine Folds Cattery liable for any and all medical expenses incurred for complications other than at time of sale. Purchaser(s) have 5 days if so desired to have the kitten/cat checked out by their own vet for overall health. If purchasers vet finds kitten to be in overall good health Maine Folds Cattery is clear of any and all future problems. If a birth defect is found arrangements will be made between the purchaser(s) and Maine Folds Cattery to fix the problem. The kitten/cat is judged to be in good health at the time of sale and has been examined by Maine Folds Cattery vet two times before allowing it to go to the purchaser(s) and hereby give a health guarantee unless it is made known to the purchaser(s) that there is a health problem and the purchaser(s) accept the kitten/cat as is. Maine Folds Cattery is in no way liable for any injury, death, or illness caused by travel from Maine Folds Cattery to the purchaser(s) home. Purchaser(s) should check with their vehicle,airline insurance company to make sure that animals are covered under their policy for accidental injury/death. 6a. We will not be responsible for travel accidents, injuries, illness, or death even if it is within the first 5 days for travel related problems. 7. Purchaser(s) need to bring with them at time of pick up of their new kitten/cat a new hard pet travel case. If you have one already make sure it is sterilized with bleach prior to arrival. Your current or past pet may have left bacteria, fungus, or disease behind and would infect and possibly make your new kitten/cat sick in which Maine Folds Cattery would not be responsible. 8. Your kitten/cat has been provided with a very high quality diet of dry, wet, and raw foods and should be continued. A change in diet could lead to an upset digestive tract which could lead to diarrhea, or bloody mucous (colitis) (irritable bowel syndrome) which is treatable with antibiotics and a return to their original diet. Milk and table scraps should not be given period. Filtered tap water is also good to keep your new kitten/cat healthy. 9. The Transfer of Ownership document will be supplied upon receipt of a signed copy of this document, the relevant payment, and evidence of alteration (if necessary). | Alterations of the kittens are the sole responsibility of the new owners British Shorthairs need time to develop and should wait till they are at least 12 to 18 mo old before such is done. It allows the Testosterone or Estrogen to help foster correct bone and body growth. They are a very slow maturing breed taking 5 to 5 1/2 years to fully develop. Our Scottish Folds because they are paired up with our British Shorthairs should wait till they are 8 to 12 mo of age and for the same reason. Selkirk Rex is the same also being paired up with British Shorthairs 8-12 mo of age. Only our Retired available Queens or Sires will be altered by Maine Folds Cattery, Maine Folds Cattery Inc. |

| Panda Bear is the only surviving of 3 from the honeymoon of Whitney and Blue Moon. We were not expecting our queen to deliver when she did and when we found the kittens, Panda was the only one we could save. Great wonderful personality, loves attention, very outgoing. |
